UtilityWe are actively hiring experienced dishwashers and cooks to become Utility Team Members at Brick City Vegan. The duties of this combined position include:Utility Team Member Responsibilities:Set up and maintain a safe, clean, sanitized, and organized dish station areaProperly clean and sanitize all dishwarePerform all opening and closing duties in the dining room, restroom, and dish areaMaintain a clean dining room throughout the shiftClean and sanitize tables and booths after each customerFollow all procedures for maintaining a properly working dish machineEmpty trashcans and remove trash bags throughout the dayPreparing kitchen area for next shift by cleaning and restocking dining areas and cook stationsUnload and store deliveries, daily or as neededPrepare food for service according to recipeAssist on kitchen line when needed throughout the shiftPrepare menu items to recipe and follow special instructionsFollow all food safety standardsSweep and mop floors following all safety guidelines, especially if items are broken or spilledPractice safe work habits to avoid injury to self and othersSupporting other team members by assisting with other tasks, as neededReport kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and proceduresMaintain a professional and courteous demeanor during stressful and/or busy times.Maintain the organization of all chemical and cleaning supplies; including the proper storage of mops, brooms, etc.Utility Team Member Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentMaintain a professional appearanceMust have relative work experienceBe a team player and work as a teamRecognize the needs of the customerAbility to follow a recipeKnowledge of knife safetyStrong problem-solving and communication skillsExceptional time management skillsAble to maintain professionalism at all timesAbility to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and lift at least 50 poundsWillingness to comply with all food and safety proceduresWhat is Brick City Vegan?
