About the Role: Join the team responsible for one of the greatest employee perks of Carl’s Place - a free lunch service from Carl’s Cafe! We’re looking for a reliable Kitchen Associate to help support this service part-time as our organization grows. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment through dishwashing and other cleaning duties. The ideal candidate will also provide occasional support in food preparation and other tasks as directed by our Executive Chef. Responsibilities: Operate industrial dishwashing equipment efficiently and safely. Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils manually or using dishwashers. Sort and stack clean dishes; return them to their designated areas. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dishwashing area and throughout the kitchen, including removing trash, cleaning sinks, and organizing supplies. Assist in inventory management and rotation of supplies. Assist the Executive Chef with food preparation tasks as needed. Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines, including properly handling and storing food items. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Previous experience in a similar role preferred. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines preferred. Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 pounds). Ability to stand/walk/bend for extended periods. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 12:30pm-2:30/3:00pm Job Type: Part-time Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 10 – 12 per week Physical Setting: Office Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday No weekends Ability to Commute: Milton, WI 53563 (Required) Work Location: In person
