Why This Role MattersA well-run yard is the backbone of efficient operations. As a Yard Handling Associate, your work ensures materials are organized, accessible, and moving safely - supporting teams across the warehouse and helping Arena projects stay on track every day. What You'll Build & Move Every DayThis is an active, hands-on role where organization, safety, and teamwork come together. You'll support daily yard operations by handling materials, operating equipment, and maintaining a clean, functional work environment. Safely load and unload trucks Pick, stage, and prepare materials for delivery or pickup Verify materials using pick tickets and shipping documents Organize and store materials in designated yard locations Help maintain accurate inventory for incoming and outgoing materials Inventory SupportAssist with cycle counts and physical inventory Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials Ensure materials are properly labeled and tracked Equipment & Yard OperationsOperate forklifts, pallet jacks, and yard vehicles safely Perform daily equipment inspections Report on maintenance or safety concerns Yard Maintenance & SafetyKeep yard areas clean, organized, and safe Maintain clear drive lanes Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal or lawn care Operate yard sweepers as needed Follow all company and OSHA safety guidelines Wear required PPE and report unsafe conditions immediately What You Bring to the BuildYou don't need to come in knowing everything - but reliability, attention to detail, and a strong safety mindset are essential. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a team that keeps operations moving.
