Field Service Technician III

ROLE OVERVIEW:A leading technology services organization is seeking a Field Service Technician III to support commercial printing and imaging equipment in a customer-facing, field-based role.This position is ideal for a hands-on technician who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining copiers, printers, and multi-function devices. The role requires strong technical skills, responsiveness, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform routine maintenance and break/fix repairs on digital imaging equipment, including copiers, printers, and multi-function devicesRespond promptly and professionally to service calls at customer locationsMaintain accurate service documentation, including field service and expense reportsIdentify and report product failure trends and service issues to managementEnsure all assigned equipment meets operational and performance standardsDeliver excellent customer service while maintaining a professional demeanorFollow all site-specific safety protocols and customer requirementsSupport uptime and reliability in a 24/7 service environmentQUALIFICATIONS:2 to 4 years of related technical experience or equivalent vocational trainingAssociate's degree in electronics, electrical engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent hands-on experiencePrior experience as a field service technicianStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsAbility to meet performance standards related to service quality and customer satisfactionValid driver's license with acceptable driving recordWillingness to travel within assigned territoryAbility to work flexible schedules, including shift work and on-call rotationsAbility to obtain required security clearances for customer sitesMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities such as walking, standing, and kneeling for extended periodsADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:This is a customer-facing role and may require compliance with client-specific policies, including health and safety protocolsCOMPENSATION:In compliance with California pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this position is $25.00–$35.00/hr.
