We are seeking a motivated HR & Talent Acquisition Intern to support our recruitment and employee engagement initiatives in a dynamic, remote environment.Location Remote – U.S. or International. This is a fully remote internship. Candidates local to San Diego may have optional access to GigaKOM facilities.Position Overview The HR & Talent Acquisition Intern will support day‐to‐day recruiting operations and assist with employee engagement initiatives across the organization. This role provides exposure to domestic and international hiring processes, HR coordination, and organizational development.This is a learning‐focused internship designed for individuals interested in building real‐world experience in human resources, talent acquisition, and global workforce operations.The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and eager to learn in a collaborative, fast‐paced environment.What You'll Do Talent Acquisition & Recruiting Support Assist with sourcing candidates across multiple departments (Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Accounting) Screen resumes and coordinate virtual interviews with candidates Maintain candidate pipelines and update applicant tracking systems Draft and post job descriptions across job boards and platformsInternational Hiring & HR Coordination Support recruiting efforts for both U.S. and international candidates Learn and assist with compliance considerations in international hiring Coordinate with internal HR and leadership teams on hiring processes Track recruitment progress and reporting metricsEmployee Engagement & Culture Initiatives Assist in planning and supporting employee engagement programs Collaborate with HR and Marketing teams on internal initiatives Help monitor employee satisfaction through surveys and feedback Contribute ideas to improve employee experience and retentionOnboarding & Documentation Assist with onboarding materials and internal HR documentation Help organize and improve HR processes and workflows Support documentation of best practices and internal guidesCross-Functional Collaboration Work with hiring managers and leadership across departments Gain exposure to business operations and workforce planning Participate in team meetings and contribute to HR initiativesQualifications Required Current undergraduate (junior/senior) or recent graduate in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Psychology, or related field Strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal) Detail‐oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks Comfortable working independently in a remote environment Proficient with Microsoft Office and willing to learn new toolsPreferred Coursework or project experience in HR, recruitment, or international business Familiarity with LinkedIn, job boards, or applicant tracking systems Interest in recruiting for technical or IT‐related rolesCore Competencies Organization and time management Communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and data accuracy Adaptability and willingness to learn Collaboration across teams Problem‐solving and initiativeCompensation & Structure Part‐time internship (approximately 10 hours per week) Flexible schedule Performance‐based incentives (bonuses/commission for successful hires) Unpaid internship focused on training and experience development Opportunity for expanded responsibilities based on performanceWhy Join GigaKOM?
