Ideal for second-year medical students with prior lab experience and strong technical skills.Responsibilities and Career Competencies:Perform isometric tension study experiments, western blotting, co-immunoprecipitation, and knockdown of individual genes with siRNAs in cultured cells and vascular tissues - C, TW, P, CT, CTR, TAdvise and supervise first-year medical student laboratory fellows in conducting planned experiments - C, TW, P, CT, CTR, TCompetencies/Skills: Communication (C), Teamwork (TW), Professionalism (P), Career & Self Development (CSD), Critical Thinking (CT), Community Transformation (CTR), Leadership (L), Technology (T)Education Requirements: Second-year medical student preferred. At least one year of laboratory research experience required.Preferred Skills: Mastery of techniques such as isometric tension study, western blotting, co-immunoprecipitation, siRNA knockdown in cultured cells and vascular tissues.Work Schedule: Varies depending on workload.
