Delta has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for the position of Electrical General Foreman in Champaign, IllinoisElectrical General Foreman Compensation & Benefits:Total compensation for the Electrical General Foreman in Champaign, Illinois is around $55 Hr/ 60+ Hrs week$3000 Monthly Per DiemCovered healthcare benefits (medical, dental, vision)401kPaid time off & holidaysOpportunities for advancement on large-scale projectsElectrical General Foreman Duties & Responsibilities:Act as the primary field leader for all electrical operations on a $20M high-rise residential projectSupervise and coordinate daily activities of foremen, journeymen, and apprenticesPlan and manage manpower, materials, tools, and equipment to meet project milestonesInterpret blueprints, specifications, and schedules for accurate installation of electrical systems (power, lighting, fire alarm, low voltage, life safety)Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to maintain workflow and resolve conflictsEnforce company safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA regulationsConduct site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to NEC and local codesTrack project progress, identify delays, and implement corrective actions to maintain scheduleManage material procurement, deliveries, and inventoryLead daily huddles and weekly coordination meetingsAdhere to all company policies, standards, and proceduresOther duties and projects as assignedElectrical General Foreman Qualifications:Strong employment stability5-10 years of electrical construction experience3–5 years in a supervisory role on commercial or multi-family projectsExperience on mid- to high-rise construction projects preferredStrong knowledge of NEC, local building codes, and safety regulationsProven leadership experience managing multiple crews and subcontractorsAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and schedulesStrong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsProficiency with basic computer systems and construction management toolsMust be authorized to work in the U.S.
