Carpenter Supervisor

Job Description Understanding of carpentry & construction processes.5 years' experience in all aspects of carpentry & construction.Experience in reading blueprints, sketches or building plans to prepare a project layout to determine dimensions and materials required for the job.Ability to calculate a job estimate and sell the bid to the customer.Manage the schedule board, individual jobs and the crew.Experience with Exterior work - framing, siding, doors, windows, weatherization, house painting, decks, cement work.Experience with Interior work – framing, sheet rock, flooring, ceilings, doors, windows, kitchen & bath remodels, fixtures.Strong working knowledge of job site safety:Ability to safely operate equipment, construction machinery & power toolsRead and adhere to labels, safety warnings, and guidelines.Ability to safely erect scaffolding and ladders.Attentive to detail and always alert to ensure safety.Capable of receiving and following instructions and communicating with co-workers and customers.Current & valid driver's license is a must.Basic hand tools required.Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:High school diploma is an asset, as well as Trade School certification.5 years of experience in commercial or residential carpentry.
