Order Entry Clerk

DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Order Entry Clerk. As an Order Entry Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient order processing.In this role, you will be responsible for entering customer orders into our systems, verifying order information, and resolving any discrepancies or issues that may arise. You will also collaborate closely with our sales team and other departments to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.The ideal candidate for this position is highly organized, has excellent attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. If you have strong data entry skills, are comfortable with technology, and enjoy working collaboratively, we would love to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesEnter customer orders accurately into our systemsVerify order information, including pricing, product codes, and any special requirementsCommunicate with customers or internal stakeholders to resolve order discrepancies or issuesCoordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillmentMaintain records of customer interactions and transactionsAssist in managing and organizing order documentation, including invoices and shipping documentsProvide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional mannerRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentProven experience in data entry or a related roleStrong attention to detail and accuracyProficiency in computer applications, such as MS Office and data entry softwareExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlinesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsFamiliarity with customer service principles and practicesAbility to handle confidential information with discretionFamiliarity with inventory management systems is a plusMust be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
