Title: Senior Manufacturing Engineer (Machining/Metal Fabrication)Location: Merrimack, NH (Onsite)Employment Type: Contract (Through End of 2026)Status: Accepting CandidatesAbout the roleJoin a manufacturing engineering team supporting machining and metal fabrication processes within a production environment. This role focuses on developing manufacturing methods, improving machining processes, and supporting production planning activities.The ideal candidate will have strong experience in machining operations, blueprint interpretation, and manufacturing process development.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop manufacturing methods, processes, and equipment requirements for metal fabricated componentsImprove machining processes and support reverse engineering effortsSupport quoting and estimating for new manufacturing jobsDevelop production planning processes and documentationCreate planning documents including tooling, fixtures, and inspection sheetsSupport troubleshooting of production and machining issuesCollaborate with CAD programmers and shop floor personnelSupport continuous improvement initiatives to streamline manufacturing operationsInterpret engineering drawings and manufacturing specificationsEnsure production readiness and process reliabilitySupport process optimization and manufacturing efficiency initiativesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering (Required)3+ years of manufacturing engineering experienceExperience supporting machining or metal fabrication processesStrong blueprint reading and drawing interpretation skillsExperience working with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)Experience creating work orders and production sketchesExperience supporting manufacturing troubleshooting activitiesStrong communication and cross-functional collaboration skillsAbility to work onsite in a manufacturing environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting CNC machining environmentsExperience supporting reverse engineering activitiesExperience supporting project management activitiesExperience supporting tooling and fixture designExperience working with CAD programming teamsExperience supporting metal fabrication production operationsCompensationEstimated hourly range: $60–$75/hr (W-2)Final rate within this range will be based on skills, experience, and interview results.Work Schedule: 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 4:30 PM)Work Location: 100% OnsiteContract Duration: Through End of 2026
