This role requires someone who can handle complex repairs, mentor junior technicians, and maintain the highest standards of workmanship while adhering to safety protocols and manufacturer specifications.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnostic and Repair FunctionsPerform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, electrical systems, hydraulics, and other heavy-duty truck components using advanced diagnostic equipment and softwareTroubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on Class 4-8 commercial vehicles and heavy equipmentConduct engine overhauls, including disassembly, inspection, machining coordination, reassembly, and testing of diesel enginesRepair and rebuild fuel injection systems, turbochargers, air intake systems, and exhaust systems including DPF and DEF systemsDiagnose and repair transmission issues, including manual, automatic, and automated manual transmissionsPerform brake system repairs and adjustments on air brake systems, including ABS troubleshootingRepair and maintain suspension systems, steering components, and drivetrain assembliesFleet Maintenance OperationsExecute scheduled preventive maintenance programs according to manufacturer recommendations and company standardsConduct thorough pre- and post-
