Travel RN - Surgical ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Surgical ICU (SICU) position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, Epic proficiency, and an OH or compact RN license.Job Details• Hospital-based SICU with an oncology focus,• Adult patient population with diagnoses including hemorrhagic and hypovolemic shock, sepsis, septic shock, pneumonia, ARDS, craniotomy, ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, intracranial hypertension, and delirium,• Specialized procedures include external ventricular drain (EVD) management, ICP monitoring, massive transfusion protocol (MTP), mechanical ventilation, heated high flow, BiPAP, CPAP, tracheostomy management, CRRT, and vasopressor titration,• Shift is nights, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-07:30),• May also be scheduled for a rotating day/night contract depending on departmental needs, with shift assignments reviewed every 4-week scheduling period,• Epic EMR experience required,Job Requirements• Active OH or compact RN license required,• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS),• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required,• Epic EMR proficiency required,• Oncology experience preferred but not required,• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position,Additional Information• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration,• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration,• All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration,
