Dental HygienistThe Dental Hygienist provides comprehensive preventive and therapeutic dental care to patients, while supporting the dentist in diagnosis, treatment, and patient education. This role includes performing cleanings, administering local anesthetics, providing implant maintenance, assisting with treatment planning, and delivering patient-centered education to promote long-term oral health.Essential Functions:Perform scaling and prophylaxisApplication of fluoride and related proceduresProvide ongoing maintenance care for implant patients.Gross debridement on a partial patientConduct patient consultations and reinforce treatment recommendationsEducate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategiesDeliver post-operative instructions and ensure patient understanding of careEducational Requirements:High School Education or equivalentActive Dental Hygienist licenseGeneral Knowledge, Experience, Skills & Abilities:Proficiency in hygiene procedures, infection control, and patient care protocolsStrong communication and interpersonal skills for patient education and treatment discussionsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalismCommitment to patient-centered care and long-term oral health outcomesTeam-oriented mindset with flexibility to support both patient care and office operations
