Mix of morning and evening shifts currently available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Must work at least every other Saturdays. Must attend monthly meetings on 3rd Monday from 5pm to 7pmThe day to day:Provide exceptional hospitality to our volunteers: warmly greet, answer questions, provide clear instructions, address concerns and show genuine appreciation!Deliver polished, engaging large-group presentations introducing volunteers to FMSC’s mission, impact, and food production procedures, while encouraging further contributionPerform warehousing tasks:Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend and reach during (6-8 hour) shiftsLift 30-50 lbs. repeatedlyUse hand tools, like utility knivesMove heavy inventory using a pallet jack (we’ll provide training)Ensure packing sessions run smoothly from the flow of people and materials, to tracking meal productionLead a Christian prayer over packed meals, inviting volunteers to join in if they’d like. Prayer is an essential part of what we do!Maintain a clean, food-safe facility.
