Job Description SuperintendentConstruction SuperintendentPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee site operations for industrial and interior construction projects. The Superintendent will be responsible for delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge of industrial systems and interior finishes, and the ability to coordinate multiple trades and stakeholders on fast-paced job sites.Key ResponsibilitiesDirect and supervise on-site construction activities for industrial and interior projects, ensuring work meets plans, specifications and quality standards.Develop, maintain and execute project schedules; coordinate daily and weekly trade sequencing to meet milestones.Manage subcontractors and craft personnel, including hiring oversight, performance management and ensuring work is completed to specification.Enforce strict safety and compliance protocols (OSHA and company standards); conduct regular site safety meetings and inspections.Coordinate deliveries, materials management and equipment usage to optimize productivity and control costs.Review and interpret drawings, specifications and change orders; communicate clarifications to field teams and subcontractors.Conduct quality control inspections at key milestones; address deficiencies and implement corrective actions.Lead project meetings with clients, engineers, architects and subcontractors; prepare and distribute progress reports and RFI updates.Monitor project budgets and work with project management to track costs, process change orders and mitigate financial risks.Oversee interior finish installation, coordination of MEP components, and commissioning activities for industrial systems as applicable.QualificationsMinimum 5+ years experience as a Construction Superintendent on commercial, industrial or interior projects; demonstrated success delivering complex builds.Hands-on knowledge of industrial construction systems (structural, mechanical, electrical) and interior finishing processes and sequencing.Proficient reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications and shop drawings.Strong working knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA 30 preferred) and proven experience maintaining safe job sites.Experience with project management and scheduling tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam) and basic proficiency with project reporting.Excellent leadership, communication and conflict-resolution skills; ability to coordinate multiple trades and stakeholders.Ability to manage budgets, review change orders, and track project costs; attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.Valid drivers license and willingness to travel between sites; Construction-related degree or certifications (e.g., CPC, CCM) or equivalent experience are a plus.Benefitshealth, dental, and vision insurance,401(k) retirement planPaid time offFlexible spending accounts. Employee discounts and referral bonuses. Personal growth Profit-sharing program, - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
