The execution of all sales operations including the hiring, training and management of all Club Managers in assigned region. Execution and inspection of all sales operations including the activities of all Fitness Advisors and supporting departments.Duties and Responsibilities:Ability to set and then surpass sales, service and profit goalsTrain and motivate staff to achieve club objectivesConduct daily sales meetings to discuss performanceCoordinate and manage department staffing levels with all teamsAssist Club Managers with recruitment, interviewing and trainingProvide direction, set priorities and monitor staff achievementPromptly respond to members concernsAttend all staff and club meetings and eventsMaintain and update sales policies and proceduresPrepare, submit and monitor annual budget for departmentAbility to thrive in a competitive, goal-driven environmentWorks closely with retention departments to ensure high participation in the facilitiesEnsures that all required documentation is completed in a timely mannerEstablish and maintain professional relationships with staffAbility to respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situationsPreform other duties and assignments as necessary or requiredGrow dues base and constantly know you dues lineHelp support and grow all departments in the facilityProduce staff that can grow with the company and become Club and Regional Club ManagersExpectations:Present a professional demeanor at all times when representing the Genesis Health ClubsProvide input in developing strategies to support goals and objectivesRecommend staff development/education activitiesDevelop and build a team atmosphere among staff and departmentsAbility to respond to common inquiries or complaintsJob Requirements: Available to work weekends and evenings and holidaysMust hold current CPR certification or obtain within 60 days of start dateAbility to work well with othersExperience in cash handling and credit cardsCustomer service abilitiesPhysical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods of timeAbility to lift up to 35 poundsAbility to communicate with guests and other associates, including reading, writing and speaking
