Production OperatorLocation: Wixom MI 48393 Duration: 3+ months (Possible extension) Pay rate range: $18 $ 20 /hr on w2 (All inclusive) Shift: Monday to Thursday 4:00 am to 2:30 pmJob PurposeThe production operator fills bags with fiberglass.Job ResponsibilitiesProduction consists of filling bags with fiberglassVaried duties of lifting, using basic tools, and material handlingContinuously monitor machine operation and material flow to ensure productivity and qualityMove totes, stock bags, empty trash on an as needed basisPerform other related duties as assigned by the site leaderJob RequirementsMust be able to follow verbal and written procedures and instructions relating to safety, quality, and productionPPE is required safety toe shoes or boots (safety glasses and ear plugs will be provided)Maintain a safe, neat, and clean work environment including work area and equipmentMust be able to stand in one area for extended periods of time, performing repetitive tasksForklift experience is preferredQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentMust be able to perform basic math skillsRead, write, and comprehend EnglishMust be able to work independently and as a teamMust be able to lift 30 lbsAbility to work scheduled shift based on production needs determined by the site leader
