Apply Now!Qualifications/RequirementsIn this position you will serve as a senior IT specialist providing a wide range of IT services tailored to support critical in-garrison and deployed command, control, and mission information, processes, and systems and providing advanced knowledge and skill in the use of IT systems and is considered an advanced IT user.Must be a U.S. CitizenMust be able to obtain & maintain a “Top Secret/SCI” Security clearanceIncumbent may be required to undergo a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination.This position is designated as a Drug Test Designated PositionMust be able to obtain and maintain appropriate level Information Assurance (IA) certification within 6 months of assigned duties. Knowledge of IT systems analysis and applications software concepts, functions, techniques, and capabilities sufficient to evaluate new and emerging IT security methods and principles, the feasibility of proposed new systems and applications software projects; and to design, write, test, debug, and maintain information systems and applications software and ensure successful integration with existing and anticipated infrastructure in the database environment. Knowledge of operational activities (such as special operations, personnel recovery, airlift, etc.), weapon systems, and command, control, and mission process, systems, and applications. Knowledge of IT management information systems and applications software technology to isolate causes of problems between hardware, system, and applications software programs, and to measure system performance and/or extend operating system capabilities to support organizational business processes and operations. Knowledge of IT management information systems requirements and application software development techniques required in carrying out project assignments of considerable difficulty, and with little specificity regarding approach to be followed. Ability to maintain an up-to-date awareness of technological advances and predict how management can meet future requirements.
