We are looking for a high-level MHC Community Manager II to oversee the daily operations of five communities totaling over 400 units.This is a dynamic leadership role that manages not just apartment and home rentals, but also new and used home sales via our affiliated dealership, Willow Tree. If you are a results-oriented leader with a deep understanding of California housing laws and financial management, your next career move starts here.The Westland Advantage: Why Join Us?Performance-Based Rewards: Competitive base salary plus Monthly Bonuses tied to community performance.Generous Rent Discounts: Significant discounts at our properties.Health & Wellness: Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance (with dependent coverage).Future Security: 401(k) with a generous employer match, plus Life and Disability Insurance.Generous PTO: 10 days of vacation to start, 6 sick days, and observed paid holidays.Core ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Personnel ManagementDirect all on-site staff across 5 communities (400+ units).Set and monitor performance goals (weekly, monthly, annual) and provide coaching to achieve them.Manage team safety training and compliance with Cal/OSHA standards.Ensure full compliance with California-mandated meal and rest breaks for all staff.Financial & Operational OversightFormulate annual budgets, set market rents, and conduct variance analysis.Maintain accurate rent rolls, delinquency reports, and transaction records.Manage vendor contracts, approve large-scale deals, and monitor contractor work.Coordinate directly with government agencies (HCD) regarding permits and inspections.Sales, Leasing & MarketingOversee the sale of new/used Manufactured Homes and RVs through Willow Tree.Drive leasing activity to maintain high occupancy and a "market-ready" home inventory.Execute digital and print marketing strategies in collaboration with our Marketing Department.Cultivate positive resident relations and plan community appreciation activities.Maintenance & ComplianceCollaborate daily with Maintenance Supervisors to manage work order trends and inventory.Physically inspect communities for utility safety and Title 25 (HCD) compliance.Process legal notices in accordance with the California Mobilehome Residency Law (MRL).Requirements Experience: 5–7 years in customer service and property management/maintenance.Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required.Software: Proficiency in Google Suite, Adobe, and Entrata (or similar cloud-based software).Licensing: * Must possess or obtain a California Salesperson’s License (MH Sales) within 90 days.Must obtain California SB 869 Park Manager Certification within 1 year.Education: High School Diploma required; Associate Degree or Real Estate education preferred.Physical: Ability to physically walk and inspect a 400+ unit community regularly.Are you ready to manage at scale?
