The Engineer will support the design, analysis, testing, and implementation of systems and solutions for defense and critical infrastructure projects. Daily responsibilities may include collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, developing technical documentation, performing data analysis, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. The individual in this role will contribute to problem-solving activities, support project planning and execution, and assist in integrating new technologies into existing systems. The Engineer will also participate in reviews, communicate findings to stakeholders, and help maintain high standards of safety, quality, and performance.Qualifications Strong foundation in engineering principles and practices, with experience in system design, analysis, and testing.Proficiency with engineering tools and software (e.g., CAD, modeling/simulation tools, data analysis applications) and familiarity with relevant industry standards.Ability to interpret technical requirements, prepare clear documentation, and present complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Effective collaboration and problem-solving skills, with experience working on cross-functional project teams in a fast-paced environment.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field; advanced degree or professional certifications are beneficial.Experience in defense, intelligence, or critical infrastructure environments, including working with government or commercial partners, is a plus.Eligibility to obtain and maintain any required security clearances, and willingness to work on-site in Aberdeen, MD.Commitment to ethical conduct, safety, quality, and continuous learning to support Parsons’ mission and values.
