TAPPS is conducting a search for a Manager, Strategic Projects on behalf of a stealth-mode startup that is building the future of cancer survivorship. This is a hybrid role, based in Boston.CompanyOur client is a venture-backed, stealth-mode oncology platform developing next-generation survivorship infrastructure that modernizes and scales long-term cancer follow-up care. We integrate evidence-based clinical frameworks, technology-enabled workflows, and diagnostics into accessible, high-quality survivorship models.Position SummaryYou will drive key strategic initiatives for our client, taking ownership of dedicated projects and workstreams across strategy, business development, and vertical launches. Working closely with the leadership team, you will turn strategic priorities into structured, actionable plans and ensure execution with rigor and pace. This role is ideal for someone with a strong analytical foundation from management consulting or investment banking who is eager to apply those skills in a high-impact, entrepreneurial setting.The RoleStrategy & Business Development: Translate strategic priorities into structured project plans with clear milestones and deliverables. Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and opportunity assessments to inform growth decisions. Build business cases for new initiatives, partnerships, and market entries.Opening/Scaling of Businesses: Own dedicated workstreams in the process of scoping, validating, and launching new business opportunities / regions. Define value propositions, target segments, operating models, and resource requirements for new verticals. Coordinate across functions (product, clinical, AI, finance, operations, HR/legal) to drive launches and company projects forward.Project Management & Execution: Take ownership of assigned strategic projects with clear timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder coordination. Maintain structured tracking and reporting to ensure the leadership have full visibility. Identify and escalate blockers early; propose solutions proactively.The CandidateDegree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field requiredMinimum 2 years of experience in strategy/management consulting/investment banking; subsequent experience in a start-up or scale-up environment is a plus but not requiredStrong analytical and conceptual thinking with the ability to structure complex problemsProven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously with high attention to detailExcellent communication and stakeholder coordination skillsComfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities; thrives in environments where playbooks don't yet existFluent in English; additional languages are a plus
