Safety Training and Certification Specialist

Join our team of passionate professionals and be part of a company that values integrity, collaboration, and excellence.What you will doDevelop training programs, materials, and assessments aligned with safety and regulatory requirementsDeliver engaging in-person, virtual, and hybrid training sessionsBuild and maintain computer-based and virtual learning contentTrack training completion, certifications, and qualification statusSupport workforce certification programs aligned with FTA requirementsMonitor training compliance, expirations, and renewal needsEnsure training records are accurate, complete, and audit-readySupport audits, reporting, and compliance documentationEvaluate training effectiveness and improve programs using feedback and dataPrepare reports, dashboards, and training documentationCoordinate with safety, operations, maintenance, and HR teamsWhat you bring5 plus years of experience in training, certification, or workforce complianceExperience in transit, transportation, or other regulated environments preferredExperience developing and delivering training programsExperience managing training records or certification trackingStrong communication, facilitation, and organizational skillsWorking knowledge of OSHA, FTA, or similar safety requirementsFamiliarity with safety management systems and workforce training alignmentNice to haveCertifications such as CPLP, ATD, CSP, ASP, SMS, or similarExperience with learning management systems or training platformsExperience developing computer-based or e-learning contentFamiliarity with State Safety Oversight or APTA standardsExperience supporting audit or regulatory review processesBenefits15 days paid time off11 paid holidaysMedical, dental, and visionVoluntary short-term disability, life insurance, accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, whole life plus, identity theft, and legal support401 kEmployee Assistance ProgramCompensation$38.46 - $52.88 Hourly, depending on experience, certifications, and qualificationsPEMCCO, Inc. is an equal-opportunity employer.
