We specialize in gensets, motors and controllers to enable efficient, power dense, reliable, lightweight hybrid-electric and full-electric propulsion solutions.Come join us in a rare opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a product destined to impact aerospace and advanced air mobility.LaunchPoint EPS is seeking a Material Handler I to collaborate with production and quality teams to provide material movement and logistical support to ensure timely availability of materials for manufacturing of LPEPS products.What You’ll Do – Material Handler ISupport Production Planning by utilizing MRP to transact and kit material for WOs. Resolve or escalate material shortages and inventory discrepancies promptly.Support Procurement with Commercial Off the Shelf and Shop Floor Supply ordersShipping of LP products utilizing best commercial practice, product prints or special instructions on Sales Orders. Ensure safe transit and adequate insurance (if required). Maintain adequate inventory of packaging material. Provide tracking information to interested parties.Comply with Export Compliance regulations.Receive and inspect incoming materials against POs, verifying quantities, documenting quality data and perform and document dimensional and mechanical inspections with calibrated equipmentEfficiently and accurately label and organize materials in designated inventory locations in accordance with QMS traceability standardsPerform regular cycle counts and assist in quarterly and annual physical inventory countsPerform daily 5S (sort, set in order, shine, standardize and sustain) of shipping and receiving and inventory areas including outside docksFollows all safe work practices & safety rulesOccasional travel to suppliers to expedite deliveryPerform light facilities and routine janitorial duties as assigned by the Sr Manager of Operations.Support Administration team with events or all hands gatheringsAll other duties as assigned by your supervisorWhat You Need (Qualifications)High school diploma, technical training and 2+ years of related warehouse or logistics experienceMRP transactional experienceBasic mathematical skills to interpret engineering prints and to inspect partsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsComputer proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)Extreme attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervisionAbility to lift and move heavy items (up to 50lbs)Ability to stand long periods of timeValid California driving licenseHighly Desirable Competencies (Bonus Qualifications)AS Degree in Business or STEMWorking knowledge of GD&T principlesWork experience in an AS9100 QMS environmentFamiliarity with ASCM – Association for Supply Chain Management Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.Pay TransparencySalary range for this position is between $23.00 and $28.00 per hour. Base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
