This role will play a key contributor to recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, HR data and reporting, and other general HR duties. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to grow professionally and contribute to a mission-driven organization that is dedicated to making a positive impact.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in full-cycle recruitment: posting jobs, reviewing resumes for qualification alignments, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and facilitating onboardingAdminister employee benefits (enrollment, changes, and terminations) and serve as a benefits point of contactCoordinate new hire onboarding, credentialing, and orientation (including background checks, licensure verification/renewal, and required health screenings)Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in the HRIS system and personnel filesRespond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, PTO, and proceduresHR Operations & ComplianceMaintain and update applicant tracking using Excel Spreadsheets, ensuring data accuracy and confidentialitySupport compliance with federal/state employment laws (FMLA, ADA, EEOC) and regulatory requirements relevant to behavioral health (e.g., HIPAA for staff, credential tracking)Maintain and update HR documents and business trackersTrack and document compliance items such as certification, continuing education, and licensure renewals for clinical staffMaintain confidentiality of all personnel information and adhere to HIPAA and organizational privacy standardsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)1-3 years of HR experience preferably in healthcare or behavioral health fieldsExcellent communication and organizational skillsHigh attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining confidentialityAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational, administrative skills, and ability to work independentlyExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)Knowledge of basic employment law and HR best practices (HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, etc.)Must have a driver's licensePreferredExperience supporting HR or compliance in a healthcare or behavioral health organizationExperience assisting with credentialing or licensure trackingExperience with benefits administration and generating HR metricsWork EnvironmentStandard office setting within a behavioral health facility or administrative officeFull-time, typically Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.Occasional travel between sites for staff support or training sessionsEqual Opportunity EmployerAttain Behavioral Health is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.If you are a motivated and compassionate individual looking to join a mission-driven organization, please apply for this exciting opportunity.
