ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION:Established in 1970, Boley Centers, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization serving individuals with mental disabilities, individuals and families who are homeless, Veterans and youth in Pinellas County. Boley Centers, Inc., a nationally recognized and accredited behavioral health care agency, has an opening for full-time Lawn & Grounds Care Specialists to perform lawn care, landscaping, pressure washing, and grounds maintenance plus additional activities that maintain the safety, cleanliness, and visual appeal of Boley Centers properties.BENEFITS:10 paid holidays per yearPaid Time OffMedical/Dental/Vision/Life InsuranceTuition reimbursementContinuing education, reimbursement for professional certifications, licensure and qualified supervisionRESPONSIBILITIES:Maintaining lawns and landscaping across Boley propertiesSupporting property cleanliness and curb appealOperating landscaping equipment safelyDUTIES:Perform mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing of lawnsAssist with landscaping tasks including planting, mulching, and shrub maintenanceRemove trash, debris, and unwanted materials from property groundsAssist with pressure washing sidewalks, entrances, and exterior building areasSafely operate landscaping equipment including mowers, trimmers, and blowersReport hazards or maintenance issues observed on propertyAssist with maintaining landscaping equipment and toolsSupport seasonal landscaping and property upkeep tasksFollow safety procedures and operational guidelinesWork collaboratively with the grounds team to maintain property appearanceEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Experience: 1-2 years landscaping, grounds care, or property upkeep experience preferred.SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:Valid Florida driver's licenseMust pass a Level II background check and drug screenFlorida's Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse helps ensure that caregivers, health workers, and educators meet Level 2 background screening standards before they can work with children, seniors, or other vulnerable groups.
