DMS is proud to be a diverse workplace embracing three core values: honesty, integrity and respect.SummaryThe Variable Data Printing Quality Specialist (VDPQS) works closely with the Variable Data Printing (VDP) team to ensure all variable print signoffs (live data audits) and production print files are created correctly with the required output fields, formatting, and artwork before moving them through to the Client Services and Production teams. The VDPQS makes necessary corrections to VDP output before it is sent to the project's Account Manager.Primary ResponsibilitiesReviews all variable print files for accuracy and ensures that all job requirements are completed correctly.Reviews job instructions and callouts for ambiguity, requests clarification from the Client Services team, and provides further instruction to the VDP team when needed.Creates and defines quality control measures.Develops corrective methods and makes appropriate corrections.Works closely with the Variable Data Printing and Quality teams to recommend process improvements.Develops basic competency in Quadient Inspire software.Develops basic competency with USPS mail piece design and addressing standards.Cultivates a basic understanding of direct mail (personalization, presorting, campaigns, etc.).RequirementsAssociate's Degree in related field or equivalent experienceTwo to three years' applicable printing or direct-mail experiencePrevious experience in proofreading, graphic design, variable printing, or quality assuranceWorking knowledge of variable printing or imposition software, such as Inspire, Printshop Mail, PlanetPress Design, Adobe, etc.Job Posted by ApplicantPro
