This role is ideal for analysts with strong backgrounds in art, graphic design, etc., who are seeking opportunities to use their strong design background while improving exposure to more advanced data teams. This person will set the design standards for the team in Tableau, PowerPoint, wireframes, and general visual storytelling.Technical Core & ResponsibilitiesSet the design bar for the entire team; consistently wow stakeholdersDesign and develop high-fidelity, interactive dashboards in Tableau Desktop that are beautiful and insightfulBuild beautiful PowerPoint decks for executive leadership applying advanced graphic design principles (typography, layout, visual hierarchy) to technical dataMove from raw data to polished visual concepts quickly without sacrificing qualityWork across the table with fellow data peers to drive brand consistency across all data productsInterview RequirementsPortfolio review required: Candidates must present a design portfolio including (but not limited to) Tableau Dashboard(s), presentations/PowerPoint decks, infographics, wireframes, branding kits, etc. Seeking work that reflects strong design and capacity to visually tell a story. Portfolio can include "pretend/demo" work.The "Why" Behind the Design: Be prepared to explain design choices – how color, spacing, chart selection, etc. were used to enhance the specific data story
