BIM/VDC Modeler (Electrical)

Role: BIM/VDC Modeler specializing in electrical systems, responsible for creating accurate, constructible BIM content to support coordination, prefabrication, and field installation.Key ResponsibilitiesModel electrical components such as conduit, cable trays, equipment, supports, and sleeves in accordance with standards and project needs.Coordinate with architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection trades to identify constructability risks and optimize routing.Perform clash detection, triage issues by severity, and collaborate on resolution to minimize rework.Manage modeling progress, ensure proper handoffs, and maintain model quality through self-checks.Own model geometry, ensure coordination readiness, and support downstream fabrication and installation.Qualifications & SkillsProficiency in Revit with a focus on electrical systems modeling.Knowledge of clash detection workflows and coordination practices.Ability to interpret design intent into installation-ready models.Strong attention to detail and standards compliance.Excellent communication skills and multitasking ability.Preferred Experience: Electrical field experience, prefab-oriented modeling, and multi-trade coordination background.
