DescriptionLINCOLN PREMIUM POULTRYJOB DESCRIPTIONJOB TITLE: Preventative Maintenance Intern STATUS: Non-ExemptREPORTS TO: Preventative Maintenance Manager DATE: 4/2026JOB SUMMARY:Provides assistance in helping our parts team achieve a best in class parts room through continuous improvement of parts room layout and organization.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Work with parts room clerk, parts receiving clerk, inventory management specialist, and parts room supervisor to plan project work related to organization of parts, facing shelves, providing feedback to moves, adds, and changes, as well as well as entering data into inventory management system and CMMS.Works with maintenance planner as well as preventative maintenance manager on ongoing data merging and migration projects.Perform inventory management on a monthly basis for parts, tools, and supplies, and validate orders received for accuracy.Ensure the parts room is clean and organized at all times.Assist with setup of predictive and preventative maintenance plans.Assist in generating work orders and assigning parts to equipment.Assist in maintaining equipment repair records through the maintenance management program.Observe all personnel, quality, safety, and food safety policies.All other duties as assigned.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEHigh School diploma or equivalent. Minimum of one year experience in parts management.
