Infinity Engineering LLC is seeking qualified Structural Engineer-In-Training (EIT) candidates looking to gain engineering experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment located in Franklin, Tennessee. Infinity Engineering is a full-service structural engineering consulting firm located in Franklin, TN, a prosperous suburb in the greater Nashville area. We are currently seeking a Structural Engineer in Training (EIT) with 1-5 years of structural engineering experience and Revit modeling experience. Why Infinity Engineering? Under the direct training and supervision of the Principal: help prepare plans and details, model structures, aid in the documentation of drawing sets Perform site visits and/or evaluations Prepare reports for a variety of clients Review of shop drawings Assemble drawings Develop feasible design alternatives Identify and analyze principle structural design features and major design alternatives that satisfy the project’s purpose and needs. Collaborate with project design teams in the review of details, final design plans, calculations, and specifications in accordance with the applicable Building Code, project requirements, and internal office standards. Coordinate technical recommendations, assess the cost-effective constructability of the project, and generally evaluate the quality of the project design. Provide day-to-day guidance and input to technical and/or support personnel. Utilize Autodesk Revit to create building Construction Documents. Other duties as assigned. Ideal Candidate Graduation from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) college or university with a degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering Professional Registration as an Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) Depending on experience, working toward obtaining, or have already obtained Professional Engineering License. Design experience utilizing a variety of materials (concrete, structural steel, masonry, and timber) Knowledge and experience in the area of structural analysis and design using hand calculations and structural modeling software Proficient with structural design and documentation Strong with MS Office, Bluebeam, various structural design software programs, and computer-aided drafting software including AutoCAD and Revit. 1-5 years of Structural Engineering experience Enthusiasm for thoughtful design approaches Strong analytical skills Ability to communicate and write clearly and effectively Proficiency in Revit (at this time, we are only accepting candidates with working knowledge of Revit) Firm understanding of Building Codes, ASIC 360, ACI 318, NDS, TMS 402/ACI 530 Benefits Personal and dedicated owners invested in you and your growth Salary- $75,000-$90,000 depending on experience Comprehensive Health Insurance Stipend (Up to $750/Month): Medical, Dental, and Vision Paid Time Off (PTO): 2 Weeks Vacation, 2 Sick Days, Paid Holidays Professional Development: Ongoing training and development, SEU Membership, Open to other opportunities on a case-by-case basis Mobile Phone Stipend- $50/month Transportation Allowance- Mileage reimbursement for travel required for site visits Employee Events- Quarterly Team events for Family/Team Building Infinity Engineering Goals Infinity Engineering is a rapidly growing firm that possesses over 20 years of structural engineering experience.
