Together our courts and probation departments are committed to impartial and timely dispute resolution; support for families, litigants, and victims; client rehabilitation; and meaningful community engagement.STATEMENT OF DUTIESGeneral Statement Of DutiesProvides support and assistance to those responsible for case processing and coordination of judicial activities in the Colorado Judicial Department.Distinguishing FactorsPositions in this classification are distinguished from other classifications by the performance of routine, repetitive work with close supervision and limited decision-making. Incumbents will perform job functions that support those involved in case processing and coordination of cases for the court. Positions in this classification will perform some, but not the full range of functions in the Clerks’ Office or Division, and shall be limited to file maintenance, processing mail, serving as bailiff and/or as a receptionist.Additional CommentsThis position is for Park County. This is a intermittent contract position so the hours and schedule will vary based on the organization's need and the successful candidate's availability. This position is not eligible for benefits.****Essential FunctionsTo be established at the local district.Examples Of WorkFiling, copying materials, scanning documents, serving as a receptionist, preparing the courtroom for proceedings, maintaining an orderly courtroom, and may include some data entry. Provides customer service.May occasionally require travel.Essential Functions Cont.Supervisor Responsibilities:No formal supervisory responsibility. Responsible for one's own work.Minimum QualificationsMinimum Education: Graduation from high school or equivalent.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk. The employee frequently is required to stand; sit; reach with hands and arms; and perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and fingers; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and high precarious places. Occasionally handles emergency or crisis situations; frequently subject to interruptions, and multiple calls and inquiries. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
