Clinic Medical Assistant

Cabell Huntington Hospital Clinic Medical AssistantCabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a full-time Clinic Medical Assistant to work with our CFMC Barboursville Department. The Clinic Medical Assistant will be responsible for greeting and registering all incoming patients in addition to handling incoming and outgoing communications concisely in a pleasant and professional manner. Job specific duties include: Answering phone promptly in a courteous fashion Taking messages, providing adequate information and routing calls properly Scheduling patient appointments for all physicians and confirming appointments one day prior Obtaining complete and accurate demographic and insurance information for each patient Responding to patient inquiries Collecting co-payments; maintaining accurate accounting of the petty cash fund daily Maintains records, reports or other significant information Performs other duties as assigned or requested
