Deployment Infrastructure Engineer

Programmers.io is currently looking for a "LinuxONE Deployment Infrastructure Engineer"Remote Role.Contract Role open for C2C OR W2Job Description Scope: The Entire LinuxOne estate, 4x physical locations, 8x Emperor 5.Required Skills:• Hands-on experience deploying and installing IBM LinuxONE infrastructure and RHEL Linux environments.• Experience with LinuxONE server deployment, FS9600 storage, SAN switches, HMC, and LPAR configuration.• Deploy bare-metal RHEL LPARs for Oracle workloads and KVM LPARs for other applications.• Experience supporting MQ, Kafka, and Red Hat OpenShift environments on LinuxONE.• Configure HAProxy/Keepalived and infrastructure monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, and Node Exporter.• Experience with IBM z HMC Exporter and Red Hat Identity Manager.• Deploy and support Jenkins, Ansible control nodes, code repositories, and Yum/DNF repositories for RHEL patching.• Strong Linux troubleshooting, automation, scripting, patching, and infrastructure integration skills.• End-to-end LinuxONE deployment/build experience is highly preferred.Preferred Skills:Expert consultative knowledge on a wide array of Linux on zSystems/LinuxONE based technologiesCandidate will be required to help architect and implement Linux migration solutionsLeading technical teamsAbility to interact with and present to client’s Executive managementExecute role with strong negotiating skills and demonstrated Problem solvingExecute role with strong Project Management SkillsIf you are interested, please apply or feel free to share your updated resume at anas.khan@programmers.ai
