Serenity for Life is a new women's residential program scheduled to open the first quarter of 2025! It is a private pay, voluntary, 10-bed, luxury facility nestled in the mountains of Georgetown, Colorado. The number of beds and extended stay offers staff the ability to work closely with the residents and to make a difference in their lives, the lives of their loved ones, and the communities in which they reside. We utilize evidence-based practices and provide trauma informed care.
We provide a safe, relaxing environment while offering residents the tools and support needed to manage their substance use and co-occurring disorders. The single rooms with stream and mountain views from the balconies and private hot tubs offer a peaceful environment for residents to heal and grow. The numerous outdoor adventures allow the residents to learn new activities, reduce stress, improve sleep, build self-confidence, and develop long-lasting friendships. Position Summary:
The LPN/RN is responsible for providing nursing care to no more than 10 clients in a voluntary residential facility. This person is responsible for ensuring coordinated delivery of care in accordance with established standards of care and the agency's policies and procedures. The position assists in contributing to the facility's philosophy, goals, safety, and performance improvement. This includes ensuring timely implementation of orders given, reporting of client needs, and documentation. The LPN/RN performs direct services to clients including medication administration and education of prescribed medications.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Conducts initial intake
Ensures initial treatment plan is completed upon admission, evaluates and monitors client's progress
Takes physician's orders and documents appropriately
Administers medications per ordered note
Ensures proper administration, recording, control, and security of medications
Maintains the tracking of medical supplies and inventory
Collaborates with treatment team regarding client care
Provides education to clients and team members regarding medication usage, side effects of medications, infectious diseases
Qualifications and Preferences:
Licensed as an LPN/RN in Colorado
Clinical experience in residential substance abuse or mental health preferred
Current CPR and First Aid Certification or obtain prior to orientation
Pay:
$35-$40 hourly, LPN
