Material Handler/Machine Operator Apprentice

Material Handler Job description First Placement Services is looking to hire for a Manufacturing Company located in the city of Pomona, CA. As a material handler you will assist with the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including material handling, stocking inventory, preparing shipments, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. As a Machine Operator Apprentice, you will work under the supervision of experienced operators and technicians to learn the skills necessary to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial machinery in a manufacturing or production environment. Material Handler Responsibilities: Move, stack, and organize materials throughout the warehouse Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties to ensure a safe work environment Assist with packing and labeling products for shipment Follow safety guidelines and company procedures at all times Assist in material handling Support other warehouse functions as needed Machine Operator Apprentices Responsibilities: Learn all safety procedures Assist in setting up and operating machinery Monitor machine performance and production output under guidance. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols. Monitor machine performance and production output under guidance Working Conditions: Warehouse environment May require overtime, including evenings and weekends, based on current workload Shifts Offered: 1st shift: 4am-12:30pm 2nd shift: 1pm-9:30pm Must be willing to train on the 1st shift from 9AM - 5:30PM.
