PROGRAM MANAGER

Job SummaryThe Program Manager (PM) is responsible for management of various U.S. Navy and Marine Corps CONUS and OCONUS sites, troubleshooting and solutions. The PM reports to the Owner, President and CEO. Strong organizational skills, communication skills, and the ability to work independently are required, as candidate will have regular interface with military and civilian customer personnel. Candidate must be self-sufficient and must be able to manage the program with minimal management oversight. This candidate will have the following key responsibilities:Job DutiesBased in Orlando, Florida Program OfficeProvide management, planning, organization, control, and coordination of the programResponsibility for ensuring all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance objectives are met on the program and assigned tasking; including the development and management of long range maintenance plans, training certification plansCoordinate program activities across multiple functions; and ensure program goals, objectives are metAssist in establishing maintenance priorities and track repair status, resolve program issues, and ensure delivery of repairs to meet dynamic schedule requirementsMaintain and monitor program metrics identifying operational deficiencies, establishing root causes, and implementing corrective actions; and continuously identify areas of process improvement for program policies, processes, and proceduresProvide weekly and monthly status reports, items of interest, executive briefs to Senior management (or more frequently as requested/required)Prepare for and lead programmatic reviews and audits with external customers, internal stakeholders, and managementIncite and sustain enthusiasm and high team performance to deliver quality products on schedulePerform other relevant duties as assignedBasic QualificationsSeasoned and experienced as an IPT (Integrated Product Team) Lead, Functional Program Lead, Deputy Program Manager, or Program Manager on maintenance of simulation and training efforts.Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a PM.Experience working with suppliers and/or subcontractorsHighly effective management and leadership skills, fully embracing and continuously applying Full Spectrum Leadership imperativesStrong interpersonal, communication, and networking abilityDemonstrated program or project planning to include forecasting requirements; and defining/tracking tasks, schedule, and budgetProven ability to identify, understand, communicate, and lead diverse teams to solve complex issues and problemsDemonstrated ability driving continuous improvement across programs, projects, and teams through process improvement and change management eventsExperience managing and operating effectively in a fast paced and constantly changing environmentHighly competent in MS suite of tools to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.Active US Security Clearance: SECRETDesired SkillsPrior Program Management experienceExperience working with external customers in a customer-facing roleExperience with contract administration and managementExperience leading large multi-disciplinary teams on a simulation or cost plus programRelevant knowledge and experience with U.S. Navy and USMC processes, management tools and resourcesEducationBachelor’s degree or equivalent through experienceReads, writes, speaks and understands EnglishESP is an equal opportunity employer.
