You'll teach lessons, coach instructors, and ensure delivery of the British Swim School curriculum with a strong emphasis on water safety.As the program grows, you'll take on increasing leadership responsibilities, including team development and scheduling oversight.This is a part-time role starting at approximately 20 hours per week.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and inspire a team of swim instructors to deliver exceptional swim lessons and customer experiencesTeach swim lessons in alignment with British Swim School curriculum and safety expectationsEvaluate instructor performance and provide ongoing feedback and trainingCreate schedules to ensure smooth daily operationsMaintain compliance with swim instructor training requirements and certificationsSupport hiring and onboarding of instructorsConduct pool chemistry and temperature checksDeliver excellent customer service and handle escalations professionallyAssist with sales, retention, and overall customer experienceParticipate in meetings and ongoing trainingMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent2+ years of swim instruction or aquatics experienceExperience coaching, developing, and holding team members accountableStrong communication and interpersonal skillsComfortable working with all age groups in the waterAbility to follow structured programs and systemsWillingness to work across multiple locations (Antioch, Brentwood, and future Bay Point)Preferred QualificationsCoaching or mentoring experience (1+ year)Customer-facing experienceExperience working with children or special needs individualsLifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certificationsStrong swimming ability (competitive swim or lifeguard background a plus)Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset Why This Role Stands OutMake a meaningful impact on children and families in your communityBuild and shape a strong, positive team cultureGrow your leadership career in a dynamic, expanding organizationBe part of a mission-driven team focused on saving lives through swim educationAbout British Swim SchoolHere at British Swim School, we are more than just a fun, surface-level swim lesson provider.
