For decades, we have excelled on large, Design-Build construction projects specific to Commercial, Multifamily & Mix Use.Because of our continued growth, we are looking for a Preconstruction Manager in our Northern, VA/DC location.As a Preconstruction Manager, you will play a critical role in the early stages of our Multifamily & Mix Use projects, providing leadership and expertise to ensure successful project planning, budgeting, and coordination.You will work closely with owners, design teams, and project stakeholders to develop comprehensive preconstruction strategies aligned with project goals and commitment to quality and innovation.ResponsibilitiesManage the Preconstruction process for clients, including:-Producing iterative budgets, coordinating project teams internally and externally-Providing guidance to owners and design teams during design development-Valuing engineering projects to meet client budgets-Coordinating work with our operations and project management personnel to keep them informed on the project status and to obtain scheduling and logistical planning input during preconstruction-Leading a group of estimators through the bid process (performing takeoffs, writing scopes, bid packages, and properly qualifying the scopes of work)Qualifications-5+ recent years within a preconstruction position, with an emphasis on ground up Multifamily or Mix Use design-build projects-Master's degree in Construction Management (Preferred)-Proven history of performing takeoffs, writing scopes, bid packages, and properly qualify scopes of work-Recent experience in presenting full budget to ownership and reviewing all estimates for accuracy-Qualifying subcontractors' capability-Leading large-scale or multi-family construction projects from concept through gross maximum price-Use of Bluebeam software; and reviewing costs and general information on preliminary estimates.BenefitsVacation/PTOMedicalDentalVision401kBonusVehicle Allowance
