Now Hiring Billing Specialist - Direct Hire Location Kansas City, MO Salary $50,000 - $60,000 Qualifications Proven experience in billing, accounts receivable, or collections Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to build rapport with clients and navigate collections conversations with professionalism and tact Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Self-starter with the ability to follow instructions and manage priorities effectively Key Responsibilities Serve as a primary point of contact for client billing inquiries, delivering a high level of customer service Follow up on outstanding and problem accounts, partnering with clients and internal teams to resolve discrepancies Manage collections efforts, including contacting customers regarding past-due balances Coordinate with internal stakeholders regarding account status, including non-payment notifications Process ACH payments and maintain accurate records of electronic transactions Monitor accounts receivable reports and identify trends or areas requiring attention Assist with escrow billing processes and support deposit activities Prepare and issue client refunds in a timely and accurate manner Support audit-related collections and recommend account write-offs when appropriate Why This Role?
