Job Description As a Project Manager, you'll serve as the operational and financial leader of assigned electrical construction projects - from preconstruction kickoff through final closeout. Day-to-day, you'll work alongside Superintendents and Foremen to ensure crews have the manpower, materials, and information they need to execute safely and efficiently. You'll own the budget, track labor productivity, manage change orders, and keep clients informed at every stage. This role exists because great field execution starts with great project support. You'll be the connective tissue between the office and the field - removing obstacles, solving problems proactively, and representing the company with professionalism to clients, GCs, and trade partners. Duties & Responsibilities Project Leadership & ExecutionManage assigned projects from kickoff through final closeoutPartner with Superintendents and Foremen to support successful field executionEnsure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budgetMonitor project progress, manpower needs, and production performanceIdentify and proactively address project risks, delays, and conflictsSupport project turnover, punch list completion, final documentation, and warranty Financial Management & StewardshipManage project budgets, forecasting, and cost controlCoordinate, write, submit, and track RFIs for cost and schedule impactsTrack labor productivity, material costs, and project financial performancePrepare and manage monthly project forecasts and reportingIdentify, price, and manage change ordersReview invoices, subcontractor costs, and purchase ordersPromote responsible stewardship of company and client resources Planning, Coordination & CommunicationParticipate in preconstruction planning, scheduling, and project startup activitiesCoordinate with clients, general contractors, vendors, and trade partnersLead or participate in project meetings and progress discussionsReview drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentationEnsure timely communication of project updates, risks, and needs to leadershipSupport field management in solving problems and removing obstacles Safety & ComplianceSupport and reinforce company safety culture and expectations on all projectsEnsure projects comply with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and project-specific safety requirementsPartner with field leadership to address safety concerns and corrective actionsSupport incident investigations and documentation when required Client Relationships & Team CollaborationBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients and project partnersRepresent the company with professionalism, integrity, and responsivenessSupport long-term client satisfaction and repeat business opportunitiesWork collaboratively with field leadership and office teamsSupport employee development, mentorship, and a solutions-oriented culture Required Experience & SkillsExperience managing commercial electrical construction projectsStrong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and project financial managementAbility to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documentsStrong communication, organization, and leadership skillsExperience coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and field teamsProficiency with Microsoft Office and project management softwareHigh integrity, accountability, and stewardship mindsetNice-to-HavesExperience with healthcare, municipal, industrial, or multi-family projectsFamiliarity with Lean construction practicesExperience with design-build or negotiated projectsKnowledge of BIM/VDC coordination processesOSHA 30 CertificationExperience with Accubid, Bluebeam, Procore, or similar softwareBilingual (English/Spanish) a plusEducation A degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent work experience in commercial electrical project management will be considered.
