Warehouse Operator

Job DescriptionJOB QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent preferred 2-5 years warehouse experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment Must be able to operate a single, deep reach truck, sit down forklift stock picker, electric jack and scissor lift Effective communicator, both written and oral Good communication, organizational, time management Attention to detail Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines Inventory, Equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills may be required Basic Math and Computer Skills Dependable and Reliable Current forklift certification a plus Experience with a WMS a plus Experience with GMPs a plusPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Carries out responsibilities in accordance with company’s policies and procedures Operate a handheld device and forklift to pick and stage orders, perform cycle counts, perform put away transactions and to receive transactions Match product picked to packing slips and/or picked reports for accuracy Operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner to retrieve or store material Unload/load trucks as necessary Operate a handheld device to store and move material properly around warehouse Produce a high volume of work and rarely makes errors Operate a handheld to perform miscellaneous transactions such as packing, unpacking, RMA's, WIP Returns, organization transfers, sub transfers, pick samples and replenishments Use computer to do inventory inquiries, que tasks and run inventory reports Ability to check both sales orders and work orders Report damage of product, storage racks or any unsafe condition to management immediately Conducts physical inventory as required Verify safety inspection sheet has been completed before operating a forklift Maintains tidiness and cleanliness in the warehouse; Stacks and stores materials in designated areas Perform any other duties designated by the Manager/SupervisorPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Work safely and follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies and procedures Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
