Senior Java Payment Systems Engineer

Location: Midwest, USA (Onsite presence required) Duration: Long term contract Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Payment Systems Engineer to design, develop, and support high-volume, real-time payment processing applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with payment switching platforms , transaction processing, and enterprise Java development. This role involves building secure, scalable, and high-performance payment solutions while supporting mission-critical financial transaction systems. Required Skills 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development. Strong experience working with payment transaction processing or payment switching systems . Expertise in Core Java, Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, and Microservices. Experience developing RESTful APIs and enterprise integrations. Strong understanding of the payment transaction lifecycle.
