Electrical Technician
*Electrical Technician – Modular Construction*
*Job Overview* Working under the direction of the Master Electrician, the Electrical Technician installs, tests, and maintains electrical wiring, conduits, fixtures, and circuit breakers in off-site modular housing units and throughout the production facility. This role collaborates with skilled trades in a fast-paced assembly line environment to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient electrical systems.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and layout instructions to estimate materials and execute electrical builds.
* Run conduit and piping, pull wiring, install circuit breakers, connect fixtures, and integrate system hookups according to electrical codes.
* Inspect, test (using diagnostic meters), troubleshoot, and repair electrical components and systems.
* Safely operate, clean, and maintain trade hand and power tools; report damaged equipment immediately.
* Assist with general unit production tasks and support team assembly operations as assigned.
*Qualifications & Requirements*
* *Education & Experience:* High School Diploma/GED required; *minimum of 3 years of experience* in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair within the building trades required.
* *Certifications:* Journeyman/Electrical license or certification preferred.
* *Technical Skills:* Blueprint/shop drawing reading, strong electrical wiring and diagnostic test meter proficiency, basic math skills, and competence with power/hand tools.
* *Physical Demands:* Ability to lift 50 lbs independently; frequent standing, walking, crouching, climbing, reaching, and working in/under large overhead structures.
* *Work Environment:* Factory assembly line setting with noise, temperature fluctuations, and moving machinery.
*Workplace Dress Code*
* *Permitted:* Knee-length shorts, work pants/jeans, and short- or long-sleeve shirts.
* *Prohibited:* Tank tops, muscle shirts, shorts shorter than knee-length, sweatpants, and yoga pants.

*Required Safety Gear & Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)*
* *Provided by Company:* Bump caps and safety glasses.
* *Required Candidate Equipment:* *Steel-toe boots or shoes* (composite toes are *not* permitted) must be worn at all times on the shop floor and are required on day one for orientation.
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
