Speech & Language Pathologist
The Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) provides specialized assessment and therapy services to students aged 5-22 with severe behavioral and developmental needs.Conducts evaluations of speech, language, social communication, and feeding disorders, recommending AAC devices and strategies.Develops and implements individualized treatment plans, delivering therapy in various settings, and supporting feeding/swallowing.Collaborates with educators, therapists, and families to promote communication success and trains staff and families in supporting strategies.Integrates communication supports into behavior plans, assists in crisis situations, and maintains accurate documentation.Qualifications include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, CA licensure, and experience with behavioral and developmental disabilities. Knowledge of AAC, behavioral interventions, and trauma-informed practices is preferred.Benefits include competitive salary, health insurance, paid time off, and a multidisciplinary team environment.
