Our Teaching Artists will serve the Polk County and surrounding region and become part of a collaborative network of artists and educators. Our non profit will be expanding programming in Fall 2026.Artworks Art Center is seeking passionate Teaching Artists to join our creative and arts education programs in schools and communities centered in Polk County and the surrounding region. The rate is $35 per contact hour (additional depending on project). Teaching Artists will participate in professional development training in Summer 2026 and be on our roster for work beginning Fall 2026.Teaching Artists will lead engaging, hands-on art experiences for K-12, youth and adults. We are looking for artists working in all art mediums including visual arts, theater, movement, dance, health and wellbeing, music and any unique form you may wish to offer. We are looking for artists who have teaching experience, maintain an artistic practice, enjoy working with youth and communities, value inclusive and accessible teaching practices, and are excited to collaborate in new areas of arts education and become part of our team of artists in a creative community.  We welcome all artists to apply.Apply online at www.artworksartcenter.orgApplication Deadline: May 15, 2026Artworks Art Center is committed to equity, inclusion, and accessibility in the arts.
