Cerner Revenue Cycle Consultant (Remote Contract)

*Cerner Revenue Cycle Consultant (Billing Analyst)* *Remote | Contract (3-6 months) | $30-$40+ per hour* A rural healthcare organization is seeking a *hands-on Cerner Millennium Revenue Cycle SME* to support *hospital billing A/R* during a transition from *Cerner to Epic* (Epic golive: *October 3rd*). This is an *operational role*, not IT. *What You'll Do* * Perform *insurance A/R, billing, collections, and cash posting* in Cerner * Support *Cerner cleanup and winddown activities* ahead of Epic golive * Resolve *unclosed and zerodollar worklists* and identify cash recovery opportunities * Act as a *Cerner subject matter expert*, answering A/R questions and guiding teams * Improve workflows and support PFS leadership during a highchange period *Required* * 3-4+ years *Cerner Millennium* experience (expert level) * 5+ years *full-cycle medical billing* * Strong *hospital/PFS revenue cycle* knowledge * Prior *lead or SME experience* (coaching while producing) * 1+ year *Epic* experience *Nice to Have* * Experience supporting an *Epic implementation or golive* *Why This Role* * Highimpact role supporting a major Epic conversion * Fully remote, standard business hours * Visible partnership with PFS and executive leadership *Remote (eligible states):* AZ, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, ID, IL, KS, MA, MD, MI, MN, NC, NJ, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract position based out of Houston, TX. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
