Through access to quality behavioral health, crisis intervention, and suicide intervention services, we foster an inclusive community in which everyone can attain wellness and a genuine sense of belonging.SUMMARY STATEMENT OF POSITIONUnder the supervision of the Director of Outpatient, Compliance and Quality, the Electronic Health Record Administrator is responsible for system maintenance, data security and compliance, technical support, staff training, workflow optimization, and reporting.This is a Hybrid position where the selected employee will be required to be on-site at our Oakton office location 1-2 days per week.PRIMARY DUTIES:Oversee EHR system configuration, upgrades and functionalityEnsure data accuracy, system security, and compliance with health care regulationsManaging user access and auditing recordsTroubleshooting technical issues, software and hardware problems for users, serving as liaison with the EHR vendorAnalyze data and workflows to improve efficiency in data entry and retrievalGenerate reports on patient data, system performance, and quality metricsVerify Medicaid and commercial insurance information and maintain accurate payer data in the systemOversee nonmedical billing processes for employment services, Children's Services Act funding for TIP and FPSP, and MHSS contractsPerform other duties as assignedESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES:Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication skillsExcellent business acumen by being strategic, decision-driven and understands business implications of decisionsStrategic thinking to develop strategies to achieve organizational goals, adapt to changing conditions, and understands strengths and weaknessesQUALIFICATIONS:Degree in Health Information Management, Health Informatic, Healthcare Administration or IT with healthcare preferred.Certification from AAPC or AHIMA, preferably Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Certified Physician Practice Manager (CPPM), Certified Health Data Analyst (CHDS), Certified in Healthcare Privacy and Security (CHPS) preferredAt least two years of experience working in a behavioral or primary health setting managing an EHR, Credible strongly preferredAttention to detail. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
