Enterprise Cloud Architect

Job Title: Cloud Architect Location: North Carolina or South CarolinaOverview: We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions. This hands-on role focuses on Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, monitoring, and collaboration with engineering and product teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure cloud environments.Responsibilities:Design and deploy cloud solutions that meet business requirements.Implement IaC using Terraform and scripting (Python, UNIX shell, YAML, JSON).Monitor, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost.Support DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Artifactory).Collaborate with stakeholders and document processes, sharing best practices.Qualifications:Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field.10+ years technical systems experience, 5+ years in cloud architecture (AWS preferred).Proficiency in Unix/Linux & Windows, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS), and CI/CD frameworks.Strong scripting/automation skills; experience with monitoring tools (Dynatrace).SaaS or regulated industry experience and cloud/security certifications are a plus.Working Conditions:Flexible hours and collaborative environment; remote requires reliable internet.Occasional travel may be required.
