Feed Mill Maintenance Technician

JOB SUMMARY:Hog Slat, Incorporated, is seeking a full-time individual to join our feed mill team in Camden, IN, to fill the role of our Maintenance Technician position. This position will consist of multiple duties. Feed mill knowledge is suggested, but it is not required.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesEssential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other functions may be assigned as business conditions change.Repair high and low voltage electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systemsRepairing or replacing defective equipment and/or partsPerforming preventive measures of safeguarding the machinery against any kind of degradation on a regular basisInspection, operation and recording of maintenance work and their costsCleaning and lubricating of partsMaintaining overall cleanliness and proper functioning of the area or tools or the machinerySkills/Knowledge RequiredThe IDEAL CANDIDATE will have the following experience/educational background:Experience in Industrial MaintenanceExperience with repairing high and low voltage electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systemsWelding and fabrication experienceTroubleshooting skillsWORKING ENVIRONMENT:While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts, The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.
