Job Title: Senior .NET Full-Stack Application Developer Location: Clearwater, FL (On-site) Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (W2 through ZipStaff — No C2C or 1099)About the Opportunity: ZipStaff is seekingtwo Senior .NET Full-Stack Application Developersto support and modernize enterprise applications for a large local government / public-sector organization in the Tampa Bay area.This is a hands‑on developmentandproduction-support role. You must work acrosslegacy Microsoft desktop / client-server apps and modern Blazor web applications— UI, application, API/service, and database. Specialists who only do web, or only do desktop, will not be a fit.What You’ll Do:Design, develop, enhance, maintain, and support enterprise applications across the Microsoft .NET stack.Support existingdesktop / client-serverapplications (VB.NET, WPF and/or Windows Forms).Build modernBlazorweb applications.Integrate applications withWCF / REST APIsandSQL Server .Troubleshoot production issues across UI, application, API, and database layers.Perform root-cause analysis and implement durable fixes — not temporary patches.Contribute to application modernization.Work withGit and/or TFS / Azure DevOpsand participate inCI/CDdeployments.Required Qualifications:8+ yearsof hands‑on Microsoft .NET application development.StrongC#and.NET / .NET Framework .Strong hands‑onMicrosoft Blazor .Working proficiency inVB.NET— must maintain and enhance existing VB.NET applications.Experience withWPF and/or Windows Forms .StrongMicrosoft SQL Server .StrongWCFandRESTful APIs / web services .StrongGit and/or TFS / Azure DevOps .Working knowledge ofCI/CD pipelinesand deployments.Strong troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis across multiple application layers.Ability to workon‑site in Clearwater, FL .Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.Preferred Qualifications:Azure / Azure DevOps.Entity Framework / EF Core.Power BI.Automated / unit testing.Application performance tuning.Enterprise integration and large, complex application support.About ZipStaff: ZipStaff partners with leading organizations to connect skilled technology professionals with high‑impact contract opportunities.
